I've put together a little Bozeman City Guide of all my favorite places.
Our city of Bozeman, Montana has an adorable downtown vibe with tons of shops, eateries, bars, and storefronts to check out. Bozeman flocks thousands of tourists every year and for good reason. Bozeman residents are friendly and embrace all of what Bozeman stands for.

Growing up in the Bay Area, I was spoiled by the plethora of great restaurants. Bozeman has a great variety of tasty spots for our small town.
Treeline Coffee Roasters // coffee
They have two locations - 624 N Wallace and 139 W Main Street. They have the BEST coffee in Bozeman (coming from a coffee snob).
Wild Crumb // pastries & sandwiches & sweets
Homemade goodies/pastries/tarts/cakes/cookies galore erupts from this bakery daily. They also have delicious grab n' go sandwiches and fresh breads you'll want to try. They have delicious sliced sourdough bread for toast and sandwiches and no store bought bread will come close.
Lot G Cafe // breakfast & lunch
Great ambiance for breakfast and lunch ~ sister restaurant to Nova Cafe. This is a sit down spot. My favorites are the kale salad with cauliflower and pine nuts with a topping of fried chicken. Or another favorite is the polenta lamb ragu!
Nova Cafe // breakfast & lunch
I love this spot for a tasty breakfast. My favorite item on the menu is the Happiness Bowl.
Plonk // drinks
For a night out, stop in for insanely delicious cocktails.
Sashimi Bar // dinner
If you like sushi, this is a MUST TRY. Leave the kids at home and enjoy a Omikase (Sushi chef's choice) sushi dinner.
Blackbird // dinner
By far my favorite spot in town for dinner. They have great wood fired pizza and you have to try their kale caesar salad.
Open Range // dinner
Downtown restaurant where you'd go for a great steak and tasty cocktail. They have a back patio for outdoor eating.
Barley and Vine // Brunch & Dinner
A delicious menu, smaller ambiance for a cozy dinner feel. Great Happy Hour menu as well! Located downtown.

Bozeman has a variety of shops, each with unique styles and the friendliest of owners! If you have time, stop by all of them.
Heyday // shop
Best store in Bozeman for locals & tourists. Featuring life style goods - home goods, kitchen items, beauty, local vendors, kid's gifts, and so much more! They even gift wrap for you! It's a little Bozeman "Anthropologie" store but better!
This market has artisan cheeses, meats and even gelato. Grab a ready made sandwich or fresh pasta to make for dinner.
Olivelle // oils
If you like to cook or entertain, this storefront carries infused oils, pasta, sauces, dips galore!
Evrgreen // women's clothing store
This is a great store for women to find a great blouse, great selection of jeans or perhaps a summer dress for a special occasion.
Revolvr // men's clothing store
Their brother store has awesome clothing and gear for men. They carry brands like Scott and Soda.

Whether the afternoon calls for a slow stroll in the park, endurance hike, or exploring a museum, you can find something on this list you will love.
Head toward the Bridger Mountains ~ 3 mile hike easy to moderate. STUNNING views of the Valley. Dog friendly.
Drinking Horse Trail
Adjacent trail head from M Trail with also stunning views of the Bridger mountains.
Best views of Bozeman and a trail system just right downtown! This trail connects to the Hospital trails for a great mountain bike ride.
Has a newer kid's playground, swings, slides, and access to the river to throw rocks and let your dogs take a dip. Few acres to play a great game of football or soccer!
100 Acre Park
Walking trails, swimming ponds, dog parks, bike trails, playgrounds, pavilions, sledding hill, and so much more!
Located adjacent to the 100 acre park featuring slides, swings and of course dinosaurs!
Museum of the Rockies
Displays & exhibits of extensive collection of dinosaur fossils, a planetarium, and kid's interactive play area (for younger ages).
Story Mill Community Park
This park opened in 2019 on the Northside of town that has dog friendly areas, kid playgrounds, trail systems, sculptures and an area to have an awesome picnic.
Lava Lake Hike
Though not technically in Bozeman, really located in Gallatin Gateway, this is one of my FAVORITE hikes. Not super difficult and you end the hike up top at this gorgeous lake.

Downtown hotel with incredible access to restaurants & bars. Some of the hotel rooms even provide kitchenettes.
The Lark Motel // downtown
Offers amazing convenience to downtown to some of my favorite spots. Parking available.
